From "The Infrastructurist"

Remember just a few months ago when people were still weighing crazy career options like becoming a celebrity pet stylist or an investment banker? Interesting list. I can't find the numbers but I know that infrastructure was severely cut in the final version of the stimulus bill so more tax breaks could be added (idiocy). There are some overlaps with a list I posted earlier. I never understood why we don't bury our power lines.

I've always done well dealing in necessities like land, construction, housing, apartments, vehicles, plumbing, electrical, heating, hot water, heating fuels, maintenance, service, repairs etc.

Things always need to be built, modified, maintained, repaired, upgraded, replaced, rebuilt or demolished.

Turnover is fairly high in some inherently dangerous infrastructure/construction related jobs due to working conditions, slips, falls, accidents, bad backs, bad knees and other work/travel/job-site related injuries.
