You would think from some of the threads on this forum that the UK was actually Romania. :x

The UK's problems are no worse than Americas in some aspects.

I hardly think a massive amount of people have left the UK to move to Romania. A few might have taken advantage of the property market and moved to the Black Sea but it's not like it's an exodus.

With more than 300 000 productive and educated people leaving each year for the best of the last 12 years, i call it an exodus.

Sorry pal, but from a distance your island is becoming a police state with a government taking over everything it can from a disarmed and increasingly poorer population.

Say thank you for more than a decade of Labor Party and his social engineers buffoons.

Just replace the labor and conservative parties with both the democrat and republican parties, and the similarities become striking. How anyone can expect two right-wing socially-authoritarian parties(one leaning towards a form of nanny state that hybridizes the worst aspects of both socialism and capitalism, the other leaning towards a form of fascism with tendacies towards religious fundamentalism) to adequately represent the views of a population that is large and diverse in its views goes well beyond reason.
The unnecessary felling of a tree, perhaps the old growth of centuries, seems to me a crime little short of murder. ~Thomas Jefferson
