Is New York going the way of California. http://www.reuters.com/article/politics ... R720090621

Republicans had won a leadership vote by 32 votes to 30 after persuading two dissident Democrats to vote with them. The Democrats immediately challenged the validity of the vote and one defector returned to the Democratic fold, leaving the Senate evenly divided at 31 votes each.

This stalemate is as bad as California. It seems that state governments are determined to become as dysfunctional as their federal counterparts. :P

It's not the same. NY isn't $24 billion in the hole (yet.)

Plus Obama will not bail out individual states. This is being made clear.

I thought California was pretty pathetic but the whole thing in New York over locking doors, and gavels and trying to show up earlier that the other political party is really childish.
An ideology is by definition not a search for TRUTH-but a search for PROOF that its point of view is right

Equals barter and negotiate-people with power just take

You cant defend freedom by eliminating it-unknown

Our elected reps should wear sponsor patches on their suits so we know who they represent-like Nascar-Roy
