It is even worse in Canada Alex. We actually have a law in our Canadian Criminal Code that says and I quote. " Guilty of an Act or the Omission of an Act." Pretty much covers every possible activity of a Human Being Eh!

The ruling elite constitute the 1% richest Americans and the politicians they have bought. The top 1% own 35% of all the net worth in the country. They own as much as the bottom 90% of Americans. They “earn” 22% of the income and pay 40% of the taxes in the U.S.
So you are advocate a redistributive super tax on the ultra wealthy?

No Dorlomin, amazing how our Liberties and Freedoms have disappeared. For example in Canada the Police can legally break the law, under the Anti-Terror Laws enacted by our Liberal Party. Now I am not sure if that includes murder, but they could Taser you to death and get away with it for sure.

Great read. Thanks for the link!
If the American people ever allow the banks to control issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers occupied. "but they could Taser you to death and get away with it for sure."

They HAVE tasered people to death and it gets filed under "Unfortunate accident due to suspect resisting".

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/article790894.ece would be an example

My issue is that if they shot the guy and he died the situation would be different...and I have no idea why that is.

That's real intelligent response you idiot.

You have no idea what freedom even smells like. Stuck in your little housing development eating the shit they send your from the hinterlands and watching the crap that enslaves you.

Answer me this dickweed: What would your life look like if the Republicans were returned to power? How about if the Libertarians took over? Would anything be different? Why don't you off yourself then. Or stfu?

You never do anything but complain at Peakoil. You have never presented a different view of a future that you would want to see. That is because you have no imagination. YOU COMPLAIN is all.

ROTFLMAO I luv pushing your buttons! Take a binger precious, walk in the grass barefooted....you will feel better! XOXOXO

Seems a big stretch to me. Under Stalinism, the bosses owed their wealth and power entirely to their position in the Party. If they fell out of favour they would be sweeping the street or worse next day.

In the US, private wealth is still sacred (if it's measured in millions). Members of the US oligarchy are untouchable, like feudal aristocrats or Saudi royals.

Posters like this start blooming in Los Angeles. This shot is from a Los Angeles freeway on ramp. The ObamaJoker poster has also been seen in Hollywood.

I simply dont get why the ultra rich have a problem with Obama. He is doing exactly what Bush did, following the same play book, all the money goes to the banksters. I am so ready for all this to end, I wish the collapse was much, much more rapid so I wouldnt live in fear of the sheriff knocking on my door should I get sick and not be able work and so not be able to pay my rent to the banksters. What a relief that day will be, when the country is so broke there are no more sheriffs to follow the orders of the banksters. That will be a really good day and it is approaching, just not quick enough.
