This is pretty interesting, because this phony "movement" does not have a cell structure of revolutionary organization, nor does it have a charismatic leader.

It does have impressive corporate sponsorship.

So without an identifiable enemy to attack (Jews being the traditional favorite, or Hutus or whatever), what comes next? Are these people simply building up to white on black race riots. because God knows the white supremacists have been all over the tea party thing, and they are well armed and even somewhat organized.

Or does this simply go straight to the Taliban style meltdown, where people start burning schools and clinics, and rampaging through college dorms like Iran last month? But again where is the leader for that?

I'm reminded of cambodia - aren't the health care protesters convinced that doctors are merely homicidal maniacs waiting to kill them? So aren't doctors due to be purged? Pol Pott did a pretty good job of exterminating anyone with a high school education.

I think white people are more likely to turn on each other in the short term, due to the efficacy of our media turning the conservative "wing nuts" against the progressive "libruls". The whole left/right --Rep/Dem argument is an effective way to keep the strongest and largest group of Americans out of the fight and to prevent them from uniting for their own benefit (against the real enemy -- multinationals and super wealthy -- those who are stealing this country's treasure) because they are too busy nipping at each other and arguing about trivialities like flag burning, gay marriage, fairness doctrines, and now some whiz-bang rip-off insurance-company-enriching scheme proposed by the Goldman Sachs administration.

Lefties believe in the charismatic golden-boy,the GS spokesman Obama -- while they ignore his actions and hang on his every word as if it were truth; and righties believe he is an immigrant socialist muslim devil who wishes to destroy the US and many believe deliberately persecute Christians and abandon Israel.

The righties don't like to admit that the left's golden boy is essentially carrying out and accelerating Bush's policies. Interestingly neither to the lefties.

Both groups understand parts of the problem, but refuse to acknowledge that their 'party' is as much to blame for the current morass as the other 'party'.

Until that changes the kleptocracy will remain in power and conditions for the bottom 95% of us will continue to get worse over time.

Wars, free trade globalism, deficit spending, and the federal reserve are ruining our currency and our productive capacity as a nation. To say nothing of the effects of declining net energy on everything related to our economy.


This turmoil and disagreement is preventing any real meaningful changes to our way of life that would mitigate or otherwise reduce the effects of Peak Oil on our economy.
