The US dollar hit 75.90 today at the same time gold hit 1017/oz.. Not good signs.

I thought it had hit a plateau, but there was further to fall.

It will end up rippling through the economy.

We may return to inflation like last year.

I disagree over the last 2 years GIC's have paid more than stocks.

It's all good. Don't worry. The stock market is up, Bernanke has been reappointed, Obama is, well, no comment, but hey recovery's under way! Come on in, the water's warm...

Anyone think the dollar will drop below the 71+ we saw a bit over a year ago?

I expect it will. 71 wasn't enough to turn the tide on the trade deficit. And then there is also money creation.

The world is buying Fords now. They are the only car company that has cars the average person can afford. The Focus and the Ranger work for those of us who want to get around and not break the bank.

When they come out with the electric focus next year they will have the model T that makes electric transportation affordable to the masses just like Henry did 100 years ago.
