I'm trying to put together a presentation for my local village about energy.

I am looking for a good source of information as up to date asp possible which clearly explains (in relatively simple terms) Energy inputs and capital depletion etc.

I once saw a good presentation that showed E coming from the sun, and F, photo synthesis and G, Collected, etc

It the showed X consumption which needed us to use Y amount of Fossil fuels etc etc

It also had some information re efficiency of collection methods and theoretical efficiency constraints.

I can't remember where I got this from previously, but if anyone can jog my memory or recommend a book/site I'd be grateful.
