Rex Tillerson says ‘stability’ threatened by Russian pipeline

Interesting that before the Nord stream 2 was even completed, 2018. The U.S. Secretary of State and Poland had both opposed the completion, as it was not in either countries strategic interest to let it be completed. 8O This was before Russia Invaded Ukraine.

Funny how most people still think it was the Russians who blew it up. Then when Ukraine claimed they blew it up, even though everyone knows the Ukrainians could not have done it on their own without U.S. assistance.

Added with Brandon saying the pipeline would be taken care of, before the pipeline was blown up and before the invasion, and after the Russians' had already shut the pipeline down in a way it could be reopened.

Newfie, Are you still convinced the Russians blew up their own pipeline? Curious minds want to know.

I do not KNOW Russia blew it up, although that is my best guess.

What I KNOW is there is a tremendous amount of BS floating (Seymore Hersch for one). Many complete crack pots have been given air time. There is also a tremendous amount of repressed information.

Most recently a German paper (WELT) had an article claiming that the Andromeda (the purported base of operation) was boarded in Poland and the boat was searched and the crew interviewed by Polish authorities (beyond common border patrol) and American intelligence personnel.

I have linked to the story but you will find no English language version. Nada.

What ever the story is it is known by NATO and the US and they are suppressing it.

By the way have you followed the story of the New New Polar Bear? In that case it is clear to anyone with passion g knowledge that the ship deliberately drug its anchor ripping through af least 2 fo cables and some pipe line. The anchor actually broke (it was recovered) and the New New Polar Bear showed up minus an anchor.

Simple facts, undeniable.

Have you read that story in the news?

BTW,

That Ukranian woman who was supposed to be on the Andromeda crew? She is actually Russian. She lived in Ukraine for a while, had a Ukraine address. She is now back to living in Moscow.

I still do not think the Andromeda carried out the attack but it may have had some part in the operation. The boats movements have now been mostly accounted for, and the timing and route make it possible. I still doubt it due to many other factors.

And there is still the Russian sub tender with a rescue mini sub along with 2 tugs and a military escort that were on scene just before the explosions. It seems no English language paper want to talk about that. The Danes, in a FOIA response, admitted to having pictures of the sub tender on scene but will not release those photos, would compromise intelligence or some such. All very queer.

There's a big review of the sabotage mystery in the most recent ATlantic magazine.

They lean toward the theory that a semi-rogue group of Ukrainians did it, without the knowledge or approval of the Ukrianians or the Americans.

The only new information I saw in the Atlantic story was the claim that they could've blown up the pipeline using relatively small and light bombs what would easily fit in a yacht the size of the Andromeda or even in a dinghy sent out to do the actual support work for the sabotage.

The Atlantic article also claimed that whoever did it slightly bungled the sabotage, blowing up the same pipeline twice in the two different spots targeted. The Atlantic claims that is actually more evidence for the rogue group of Ukrainians doing it, because either the US or the Russians would have done a better job of placing the bombs to totally destroy the all the nordstrom pipelines.

How did the Atlantic dismiss the Russian submarine tender with rescue submersible and its attendant tugs and patrol ship?

Perhaps.

There is no doubt NATO is sitting on reams of undisclosed evidence.

But I do not trust Atlantic. Some of their stories are good. But they can also throw in clinkers. This is just one case where I have been following events fairly closely. And the depth of BS is staggering.

No doubt Putin has been spending lots on the Arctic region. And he has a ton of ice breakers, more than the rest of the world combined .

Qatar postpones all LNG shipments to Europe as Red Sea tensions rise https://naturalnews.com/2024-01-25-qata ... d-sea.html

That can't be good for those up north. I suppose the bright spot for companies is that many can't afford Gas anymore so the pressure is off somewhat. Now what's that equation? You have less gas to sell so you put the price up and less retired elderly can afford it = market in balance, supply= demand.

That's the invisible hand of the market at work, tens of thousands of old people dying of cold exacerbated disease in their frozen homes. In England they call them "Excess Deaths" and it was a real embarrassment to the government until covid came along and conveniently took the blame  It's a combination of cold homes and lack of medical support as the NHS sees it's budget cut year by year.

A lot of this was preventable of course, all the people had to do was open their eyes a decade or two ago and read the writing on the wall. They could have made drastic changes to their lifestyles, even emigrated to warmer climes like Spain. But alas the vast majority of people spend their lives letting the TV set do their thinking and planning for them, and the TV will never tell you that there is a problem until it's too late to act.

Tucker Carlson Explains Why He Is Interviewing Putin: "Most Americans Are Not Informed... We're Here Because We Love The US"

"Here's why we're doing it. First, because it's our job. We're in journalism. Our duty is to inform people. Two years into a war that's reshaping the entire world, most Americans are not informed. They have no real idea what's happening in this region, here in Russia or 600 miles away in Ukraine. But they should know, they're paying for much of it in ways they might not fully yet perceive. The war in Ukraine is a human disaster. It's left hundreds of thousands of people dead. An entire generation of young Ukrainians. And has depopulated the largest country in Europe. But the long-term effects are even more profound."

Carlson notes that the Ukraine was has "utterly reshaped the global military and trade alliances" and "upended the world economy."

He also hits on the dire state of the Post-WWII (Bretton Woods) economic order, noting that it's "coming apart very fast," along with "the dominance of the US dollar."
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/ ... n-explains

The russian press TASS has run the story too https://tass.com/world/1742683
You can read the last part of the paragraph above and miss the point, the point is the ukrainian war HAS "utterly reshaped the global military and trade alliances" and "upended the world economy." It's given the BRICS sanction to dump the $US and driven many former US allies into the Russian China camp.

Cat amongst the pigeons, just in time for the presidential elections :P
