Steve Wynn the man that changed Las Vegas

For those of you that don't know him he built the Mirage, Bellagio, Treasure Island, Wynn and the Encore here in Vegas, he changed Vegas and its economy, here in Vegas he is King, but now most of his profit is from casinos in China and he has said he is moving his HeadQuarters there, this is a shock for the economy here in Vegas, when the big guy says he's moving out that does not sound good, its all over our local news and people are now talking about this, but the real story is that he is moving his HQ to CHINA ??

Will this start somthing with other big business around America could we see others moving there HQ to China.

Hm.. he says China is "not as tricky" as the US, and he likes that China is "straightforward and predictable."

This isn't really a surprise, the writing's been on the wall for a long time now -- the future is in China. It's sad though, I always had a soft spot for Vegas. And China is just so utterly TACKY, and not in a Vegas good way kind of tacky, the Chinese are the ugly kind of tacky. But hey, what else can he do, the money is in China now.

The Chinese LOVE to gamble. Macao is a major tourist destination and if I remember correctly, it has overtaken Vegas in terms of visitors.

Yep we have been living in a bubble here in Vegas for many years, never thought we would be exported like many factories have, always thought no one could out do Vegas but it seems as if China is, is there anything they are not going to be top in soon.

I suspect the new Wall Street will be in China in about 2 years, no need for New York style investors any more, China will top that to, once their $2500 car hits our market here you can say goodbye to the big 3.

I guess we can just prepare to be in 2nd or maybe 3rd place very soon.

America is losing a great business person and his team if they set up HQ in China..

Good riddance and he can take the rest of those money loving corporate leaches with him. The top 1% only care about money and not a damn thing about the US.

I think its pretty evident that money goes where money is. But hey, he could try some of that same patriotism they expect of the poor schmucks they send to do their dirty work in Iraq, huh?

Boomtown rats need real Boomtowns.

Otherwise you are just another rat in a gaudy joint eating
shrimp cocktail and blowing stardust out of your little
nostrils.

Steve Wynn divorces wife, now divorcing Vegas. Macao is certainly younger, hotter and sexier.
