I guess your post assumes that society will be able to stay ahead of the decay curve for awhile. I hope this is the case but I fear it isn't.

Meanwhile I continue working the job I've had for the last 15 years. Sometime in the future either transplant compatibility testing will become unnecessary due to the Star Trek future model or it will become a luxury that not even governments can afford, then I become a full time farmer.

Farm folk are sturdy folk. They are out in the elements, and working on machinery and doing chores when most of Americans are inside and comfy.

But this all pales to the sight when the organ farmer drops his overalls, and pitches forward onto his belly to be towed behind the tractor and plow the field.

These fellers truly are tougher than woodpecker lips...

Nice, thanks for the smile. I actually don't see much of a future in organ farming, so I'll stick to fruit trees and meat on the hoof, thanks
