North-west Europe is already experiencing wet & windy weather that usually doesen't arrive until mid October, the jetstream is much further south than usual this time of year.

Yes, I've noticed that here in the States. As a matter of fact, the jetstream has been further south
all summer. I think this is an indicator of early winter too.
