US Net Exporter 1st time since '49?

For your consideration...

Some very exciting and cw-upending news was reported yesterday in The Wall Street Journal, where citing Energy Information Agency data they say "U.S. exports of gasoline, diesel and other oil-based fuels are soaring, putting the nation on track to be a net exporter of petroleum products in 2011 for the first time in 62 years."

The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.

Refined products? Well I suppose if our own population doesn't need the production capacity any more there's no reason not to utilize the assets for the benefit of others.

Others will demand it.
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

Sending it all to China? Who's buying it? It would be interesting to know.

Is this good news or bad news?

When 20% of the population doesn't have jobs, I suppose that allows for a surplus to export. If we really want to up our refined products exports, lets see if we can't get unemployment up to 75%; that should really show a hefty products export increase.

Crash-watcher did an excellent piece on how little this little tidbit of information really means.

Click image for proper view I don't know how to size it down.
