Are any of you familiar with sovereign states hedging their oil price risk? I ran across this blog post ( Sovereign State Oil Hedging On The Rise? ) when doing some research and was really surprised that there aren't more sovereign's hedging their own given how dependent many of their economy's are on the cash flow from their oil exports. Any thoughts? Perhaps those that are hedging know something about "peak oil" that many do not?
