I recently followed a link from PO to a video by an economics professor who went through the way that real wages had not expanded since the 70's and how major manufacturing concrens moved into the credit business. Can't remember the guy's name, but although he's leftish mentions appearing on a right wing chat show where the guy agreed with him.

I've searched and cannot find this video. Could someone point me in the right direction.

Try the advanced search engine here. I found 24 threads on wages, 69 on credit and 12 using the keyword expansion. Good luck.
Since it sounds like economics, check that forum for topics dated around when you think it was posted.
