Today Jesse Ventura annouced on talk radio that he is seriously considering a run for the 2016 US Presidency with Howard Stern as his VP; if he can win the Libertarian nomination:

I'm not an American so I can't vote in US elections. I sure hope he wins!

I've been entitled to vote there for nearly 30 years and never have- yet. This goes ahead and I will. 8)

Jesse Ventura, yeah, okay - I can buy that. Howard Stern as VP, LOL! Yeah, that's never gonna happen.

Frankly I see that as a plus.

He's surely got the balls to speak the truth!

You CAN'T embarrass the guy.

Seriously, I recall reading an interview when he was gov. Pretty good stuff. There s a lot that he gets others don't.

Beetlejuice for Secretary of Health and Human Services?

This is great. It's obviously not about winning the presidency; it's about getting Jesse Ventura, into the public, speakin' the truth about real issues. Howard Stern is a a huge media guy presence with deep pockets. A Ventura/Stern ticket would never win but it would be pretty interesting to see if they could rattle a few cages during the campaign

Sounds like a good way to sell tickets and books. Good luck to them. Maybe they'll even be able to shift the 2016 debate in some minor way.

More interesting question, who will be the 2016 Democratic nominee? And what is the chance they'll recognize our economic, energy, and environmental reality?

My guess at this point is that we'll continue slogging along in our current malaise for a few more years, the Dems will nominate a weak candidate, the Reps will nominate a dynamic but inane uber-conservative who immediately institutes a stark austerity-for-the-proles plan, and we see 1937 all over again. But just a guess. Might depend on how the mid terms turn out.

The current squabbles could end up being another 1996 for the Republicans, followed by another clueless Gilligan's Island Mr. Howell nomination, and we get another term of malaise under Hillary. That's our best case scenario.

America, fuck yeah!

Yeah, I've been predicting something along these lines since 2007. Maybe that's what is behind the current shutdown? Screw upeverything and blame the Dems. Economy goes in the toilet and R's put up some "make the trains run on time" kinda guy, if you get the reference (Mussilini).

The greater danger is if they are overly successful and we end up with some extreamist. Our protections have been so eroded that many bad things could happen.

By this light Jessie ain't so bad.

In this radio talkshow interview Jesse Ventura states that if he becomes President in 2016, his first act as President would be to grant pardons for Bradley (Chesley) Manning, and Edward Snowden:

OK, he's set the bar pretty high in my book!

Go Jessie Go.

Vice President Howard Stern, today, noting the Chinese Premier's strongly worded demands for immediate American currency devaluation said, "So Mr. Xi, do you do anal?"
It takes courage to watch a film so well-done as September 11 - The New Pearl Harbor. You will never be the same. It is a new release. Five hours. Watch it on YouTube for free.
