Do you use the same username on every site?

Unread postby DesuMaiden » Wed 08 Oct 2014, 07:58:32

I use this username on most sites I post on. I also use two other usernames for some other sites that I post on. I have several other usernames that I use for fewer sites.

What about you? Do you use the same username for every site you post on? Do you use the same username on other sites you post on? Or do you use a different username to post on other sites?

Strange question for a noob to peak oil. I'd be more like "AGGGGHHHH! We're doomed! What can I do?"

I use the same user name. I try not to come across as a jerk or say things I would not say in public so I have no reason to hide behind a pseudonym.

:o One of the things I hate is places that make you keep changing your password. A good password is hard to come up with and one that is strong that you can remember is priceless. They say that as you age memory goes first and I forget what goes next.

I'm good (and smart). I store it in a file in the cloud on Google Drive.

If Google's Cloud Drive is anything like Microsoft's Cloud Drive then the NSA owns it (along with your password) 8O

If I was going phishing, I'd use a question like that for bait. Just sayin'.

A strong pass phrase is one that is at least 20 characters long and isn't a dictionary word(s). An example of a weak phrase is "cheese" because it is a dictionary word and very short. An example of a good pass phrase is "@n1m3F@n9000!!@n1m3F@n9000!!" because it is a long pass phrase that is not a dictionary word.

this discussion is "naive"

To type into a keyboard means that each and every key stroke is memorized .

In India (most oppresive society on earth known as the cast system) they developed a train of thought that each and every action is registered in what they call the "acashic records"

This is the epitomy of paranoya - unless you are part of the "other side".

Now - what is the other side?

The other side is the side that has access to the acashic records.

And so - we have a picture and snaphot of what this world is comprised of these days: 95% paranoid and 5% supposedly (they know this is faulty)-" in charge".

Maybe - given that all from a sudden that YOU (the reader) is in charge?! Meaning being born in or otherwise part of the 5 per cent ?!

It would change your mind, or wouldn't it?

I personally came to the conclusion that we (humans) are by default sent into this world with a split personality to start out with.
