I am using ad block right now. This is blocking all advertisements on the webpages that I view. I wonder how does Youtube make money if I block all of their ads. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of other people that use ad block to block the ads of Youtube too. So how does Youtube make money if everyone is not watching their ads? That's the question I'm wondering about.

Everyone is not using adblock.
Using adblock is a violation of the terms of service.
You are a basically choosing to steal by doing that.

Not everyone does. I wouldn't know the percentage but I would guess it's less than 20% that go to extraordinary efforts to block ads.

80% of 7 billion is a lot of eyeballs, even if only .01% are watching.

Simple math.

I block ads, If I want something then I use a search engine to find it, I seldom watch television and when I do I use a hard disk recorder to "zap" the ads.

If a site refused me access because I was using an ad blocker then that site has one viewer less.
