LESS is more
Our global engine is sputtering due to lack of fuel. I see all kinds of frantic efforts to keep the fire fueled and growing, but it's 3am, most of the party goers are drunk or busy having sex, and the rest are off somewhere looking for food munchies.
What's that old saying? "Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, for tomorrow we die?"
Yeah it's looking kind of like that.
As for me, I am glad that I took the time to stop and prepare for this shit storm. Instead of freaking out I get to look around in amazement until some random shit takes me out.
Right?

I'm not a doomer. I am way over that. I am seriously concerned though about the other 98% that haven't taken the time to process grieving steps one through four. Seriously concerned. It's becoming increasingly possible that some whacked out individual will happen my way, and I will be a casualty. I'm not afraid of that so much, but I will miss the view after that.
Right?

edit: it's a complicated problem. So complicated that it's impossibly hard to assess in one written essay. Or even a dozen. Or a thousand. Or a hundred thousand.
I am just amazed and out of words. Lyrics help with that:
