Things on here have become somewhat... tense. Perhaps it's time for Summer Fun!

You're not joking . Sunday dropped off birthday card at friends intending to stay 15 minutes - home in the early hours.

Monday party and 'bal de pompier' with fantastic fireworks to bring in bastille day.

Tuesday bbq with French/English society.

Glad to be back to work for a rest!

It also means a lot of work for me since I harvested over 1,000 peaches this May and June to start the summer. (My all-time high record peach harvest I might add). I didn't pick all of them, perhaps 3/4 of them. I did have a peach harvest party to make the job a little easier. That was fun. I spent a good part of the day, however, in the kitchen baking pies and cobbler while family and friends are out picking peaches. That's fun work I guess.
There’s a strange irony related to this subject [oil and gas extraction] that the better you do the job at exploiting this oil and gas, the sooner it is gone.
