Ap, interesting links and commentary. In regards to the link about missing white women syndrome. Well it sort of makes sense. White meaning the top race, woman meaning the more fragile vulnerable sex, and upper class speaks for itself. So what is the common denominator. The privileged classes being afraid and outraged that life can be so wantonly and capriciously nasty as in the back of their mind they are aware of the big bad wolf which are the unfolding events in this world. As for your commentary well ties precisely to this as one reporter was just that a white woman. I guess what is so disturbing is that nobody can predict, prepare for or anticipate who will "explode" and do something like this. Oh well guess that is divine justice for those in the US for evading so far the less sensational but more prevalent and chronic problems of most of the world related to poverty, violent conflict and now environmental upheaval.

What bothers me more, is the special significance we give these "mass" killings, but we kill thousands every year in the US on our roads, and it barely rates a 3rd page, imageless, comment.

The only thing unique or outrageous is the posting of the video. Yet similar video posted of vehicle deaths is treated almost like humor.

Or for so many years Agent, cigarette deaths being sort of taken for granted or if not simply seen as inevitable.
