Peak Oil Song, Well Runs Dry

Here's a new song by Tim Wright from Australia. I think it's really good.

He's releasing it in June with a better vid and backup from his band, King Pig I think.

It hits just the right tone. Not too maudlin, just realistic sorrow for what's happening.
Deep in the mud and slime of things, even there, something sings.

Thanks Revi- But between my bad ears and not the best sound quality I couldn't make out much of the lyrics. Care to expand? The title somewhat eludes me since all individual wells (regardless of PO or oil prices) eventually "run dry". I'll assume he's referring to the collective.

I think so. It's kind of a lament for the demise of oil fueled civilization. I think he's working on a better, more heavily produced version which will debut in June.
