Beautiful day here and I expect steaks on the grill later. :) Just glad to have three responsible young adults.
One day they will be able to support Mother and I " in the manner to which we have grown accustomed." :o

<--Not a father (that I know of)...

<--Did not contribute to population growth...

When's Non-Father's Day? If human population growth is a problem, then we should be recognized for our "sacrifice".
There’s a strange irony related to this subject [oil and gas extraction] that the better you do the job at exploiting this oil and gas, the sooner it is gone.

Sacrifice? With the cost of raising children today , you call not having to pony up the funds a Sacrifice? :o

The cost of raising a child in America is outrageous. I do have respect for those who decided to work their butts off to raise children.

When I was married a long time ago, before college, my wife took the pill. We knew at that time that we couldn't afford to have children, and it didn't happen.

A sacrifice was not putting my DNA back into the population. Other sacrifices were not experiencing the joys that children bring to a family. But perhaps not continuing my DNA is a good thing since I would be continuing the family history of Type II diabetes. 8O
