One unpleasant surprise waiting for President Hillary in January will be the debt bomb left behind by Obama.

The CBO just released their annual report today and it isnt' good.

cbo-2015-2016/reports

The annual deficit for budget year 2016 was up quite a bit over last year, reflecting the Rs passing Os legislation that ended the sequester.

The total deficit is now over 19 trillion, and interest is running 250 BILLION dollars a year. The projection for 8 years from now is an annual interest payment of ca. 600 BILLION dollars.

What a waste. 600 billion dollars a year being wasted on interest payments to service the debt that O and the rest of the dodos ran up.

There hasn't been a budget in YEARS. Just continuing resolutions.

She wants to raise taxes on the rich, which would be fiscally responsible.

Whereas Trump would BALLOON the debt, with massive new tax cuts for the rich. Funny thing is -- the rich still prefer Hillary, because Trump is so unstable and he's like Herbert Hoover protectionist.

Trump's ideas could wipe out the 1%'s wealth -- they'd rather just pay some more taxes. :)

Well, Hillary gave a very dull and boring speech to a massive crowd in Philadelphia, tonight.

And everyone CHEERED, because Trump has made boring and dull, "great again."

(she did talk about the Constitution and American values though, and that those are on the ballot)

Bruce Springsteen sang:

Bruce Springsteen performs 'Thunder Road' at Clinton rally
https://youtu.be/4q0zGG1mVyk

Image

"Our parents and grandparents, defended that democracy. Tomorrow, we face the test of our time."

Image

Hillary Clinton says America’s best days are ahead during final rally before election
https://youtu.be/Ziu2qX1XAKk?t=457

Here she is, talking about Trump "launching an attack on our democracy:"

Image

"I am not going to let anybody rip away the progress we made and turn the clock back in time, where people are free to question the foundation of our country, what our founders did here [in Philadelphia]. They saw a higher purpose and they came together, and that's what I want us to do."

https://youtu.be/Ziu2qX1XAKk?t=705

She says it with a monotone voice, but.. she's right.

Trump never made people feel comfortable him, just *basic constitutionally*. To vote Trump is rolling the dice, that the Constitution would hold. And that's not a vote I was gonna make, that's for sure.

Clinton wins Dixville Notch:

Hillary Clinton wins Dixville Notch midnight vote

Hillary Clinton 4, Donald Trump 2, Gary Johnson 1 -- and a single write-in surprise: Mitt Romney.

OK, thanks for the clarification.

Ya know, every little once in a while, WE, the good ol' US of A, needs a bit of help or cooperation from the rest of the world to achieve its goals.

Papa Bush understood this.

Repubs siince...not so much, apparently.

Do not be sorry losers. Celebrate the come from behind kid Trump. This is a new day folks. A day where PC is dead, we can build the keystone pipeline, build a wall, and basically relegate progressives to the dust bin of history.

Allow me to be insufferable for a few days. Because I'm certainly going to be. KEK

THREE DAYS, provided you let the other side kevetch about their loss unmolested at the same time.

Maybe we should start 2 new threads for the insufferables.

INSUFFERABLE GLOATING

INSUFFERABLE WHINING

sound fair?

( I probably just offended everyone here  )

Had Hillary won, the progressives would have been gloating for years. A few days for my side is not much to ask for. But I'm not asking permission anyway.

I've been watching the postmortems being done on the liberal media networks. They are mystified about what happened and are looking way to deep into Trumps goals or appeal. The simple answer and probably the most correct is that most Trump voters were voting against a corrupt lying Hillary.

Exactly right.

And she was old. And sick. And embroiled in FBI investigations. And the DNC stole the primary election from Bernie.

And the media was absolutely insufferable. Day after day of biased and snobby media coverage targeting Trump and targeting his supporters got very tiresome.

Did the American people vote against Hillary---or did they vote against the snobby Mainstream Media and the filthy rich untouchable DC elites?

Some good points in the last couple. Maybe it's even simpler, it was a massive middle finger?

Maybe that was his whole strategy, give 'em permission to say "FU" by voting for The Donald. Hillary just managed to egg 'em on.

Whatever you say about him he has some inate understanding of the American psyche.
