Las Vegas attack

Unread postby onlooker » Mon 02 Oct 2017, 08:58:09

Well, do not know too much except this:
One gunman atop the 32 floor of a Hotel opened gunfire on a huge crowd killing at least 50 people and wounding at least 200. Apparently, was the lone shooter but had a female accomplice . Was himself killed. Name: Stephen Paddock
Media calling it the most lethal shooting ever on US soil

Update 400 injured. Must have had a real powerful firearm and lots of rounds. Plus, that area looks like a perfect killing field

From listening to some audio of the gunfire, the cyclic rate of the rifle varies which makes me think he is using a bump-fire stock or crank on the trigger to replicate fully auto. Most likely an AK or some type of variant.

No special power needed . Any of the common hunting or military rounds will kill at that distance. Aks or M16 variants with thirty round magazines by the sound of it.

Well it didn't take long for the lefty slime to opine on the shooting.

A top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Sunday night.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook. “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.

The keep their speeches on file and pull them and the matching legislation out after any attack. They will be in full song by the evening news.

The left needs to be cautious with this one. The Chans and Reddit autistics think they have some video of this guy at a anti-Trump ralliy or two. Nothing definitive yet but these guys will find you if you have ever been in the media.

Now up to 58 dead and 515 wounded. Hundreds of people standing in line to give blood. There is not much else that people can do that is positive.

This is the same mentality as the partisan Ds who were immediately hoping that Houston and Puerto Rico would be huge disasters after they were hit hard by Hurricanes so they could blame Trump.

You'd think the first thing you would do is feel empathy for the victims when these terrible things happen.

That type of talk is just as disgusting coming from a leftie as it would coming from the right. Oh did hear two factoids. That his female accomplice worked at one point in one of the hotels/casinos. Second, he was not killed but rather committed suicide

I am horrified at what happened in Las Vegas. But I refuse to add to that horror by myself speculating about the perpetrator or his acts or his motivation. His acts demonstrate that he was by the standards of our society mentally deranged. His murders and his suicide demonstrate that whatever was true in his past, he had become a murderous psychopath as of yesterday.

I personally will be more or less ignoring this story until the investigation as to what happened and why is complete. IMHO to do otherwise is to add to the misery of his surviving victims.

The CBS executive who said she didn't have any sympathy for the victims in Las Vegas because country music fans are Republicans has been fired by CBS.

cbs-executive-fired-after-saying-las-vegas-victims-didnt-deserve-sympathy

It makes you wonder how someone this crazy and filled with hate for Rs and Americans who like country music ever became an executive at CBS.

Its also very ignorant, because there are lots of Ds among country music fans and performers. Some of them even voted for Bernie Sanders!

It also makes you wonder how many other executives and staff at CBS and the rest of the MSM are equally ignorant and prejudiced about the world and share her hatred for Rs, country music fans, and people in general who don't live in New York or LA.

Cheers!

Sometimes I wonder if it's just that some people don't have a conscience or whether they have gone crazy and subverted their conscience.

Cannot help thinking that this has relevance to the topic we have discussed related to white poor middle-aged Americans having an epidemic of drug use and suicides.

I'm not talking about Geary Danley which had the anti-Republican links on Facebook. That is the ex-husband of the woman who lives with the shooter. The chans have found video of a rally in Reno in August 2017 that looks very close to the only picture of the shooter that has been released. We will know in due time the motivations and connections of the shooter. The cops are being very tight lipped about this aspect.

My Dad had pancreatic cancer. I had a talk with his internist about his prognosis, how the disease would progress. Hard conversation, had to push the guy to talk about the facts. Indian dude.

A couple of years latter this internist runs up a big gambling debt in Atlantic City. So he makes Sunday breakfast for his wife and two little daughters, poisoned them and then shot himself. Bastard!

It's clearly a case where the music fans were outgunned due to restrictive weapons legislation. Just imagine how many lives would have been saved if Nevada had "Open Carry Rocket Launcher" legislation!
"new housing construction" is spelled h-a-b-i-t-a-t d-e-s-t-r-u-c-t-i-o-n.
