We are still enjoying record warm temperatures here in Alaska. ---We are 65° warmer today then on my first thanksgiving in Alaska, when native Athabascan people arrived on their dog sleds and brought us corn and turkeys and we shared a holiday feast of thanksgiving, all of us together here in the new world.

Wonderful advice. we get so in our routines we sometimes take for granted those most important to us.
Our daughter just joined us and arrived today and will be here for the high season until next spring. 10 lb turkey going in the oven as I write this. We have a family of 4 arriving today who we haven't met yet but we will invite for Thanksgiving dinner in our restaurant....
