Merry Christmas from Alaska!
The skiing is great this year. Of course in Alaska skiing is little bit different. We don't have chair lifts or trams.....we drive up a road on the back side of the mountain in an old school bus and ski down and then get back in the bus at the bottom and drive back up again.
And its usually pretty chilly--- often about -10° to -15°F when you're skiing. If the temperature drops below -20° the ski area closes.
And the ski area is only open about 4 hours a day because the sun is only up about 3 hours a day so some of the time you are skiing in the dark.
But other then that its GREAT!

If you have a chance, and are a certain age, and get Netflix, check out Springsteen on Broadway. Made my eyes damp in places. It's not the normal Christmas fare but quite touching in the Springsteen "everyman" style.
