As I told one of my British friends earlier today "Happy Thanksgiving, it is no Guy Fawkes Day, but it works for us!"
Alfred Tennyson wrote:We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Yoo Hoo!!!

Plus, part of that better life is we have guns!

Some pretty nice Black Friday sales on them at the local Cabelas as well!

Happy Turkey Day!

We've got a big bunch of folks coming over for Turkey dinner later today. My job is to get the champagne on ice (Of course, in Alaska, that means waiting until the last minute and then just putting it outside for a few minutes).

Happy Turkey Day to one and all!

Cheers!

I would say I have enough guns and ammo to last a lifetime but that is crazy talk. I'm watching Brownells and Palmetto State Armory for good deals.

Well we are in St Martin. No local cruisers Thanksgiving festivities I know of so we are just going to hang together on the boat. Did a good days work repairing the dink already. Now it’s Happy Hour.
